Six Decades On, Human Rights Still Matter

Today marks the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, and the bloggers at the United Nations Foundation are highlighting images relating to human rights – a term and a cause that is still evolving in our modern world. Witness is an international non-profit organization that uses video and online technologies to shine a light on human rights abuses around the world. In this video, Witness staff discuss some of the videos and images that have touched them over the past few years.

Visit this post and others at the UNF for more great examples – and pass them on, Twitter them, blog them – and tell the world the Declaration of Human Rights still matters.
